Lavandula’s contemporary country house is tucked away at the head of a secluded valley. Low lines, single storied and spacious. It’s in farming country 10 minutes north of Daylesford. Wait till you see the big sky. From the wide decks there's a big view looking down to the winter creek. Simple. Soothing. Cooling. Listen to the magpies, kookaburras. Sleep, read, sun, swim. There’s an outside shower with a view of the stars. Snug. Love the wood fire, lie on the floor and play scrabble. A glass of wine, a meal, soft music. Please note: minimum booking two nights.

"Just a brief note to thank you very much for our weekend at Lavandula's Contemporary Country House. We were both stressed out from work and family commitments, and our weekend at Lavandula was just what we needed. We were able to do a bit of sightseeing, and come back at the end of the day, sit and read a book in front of the log fire and just generally relax." "Just a note to say a HUGE thankyou. Lavandula is amazing, and despite the rain we had a wonderfully relaxed weekend and really enjoyed your country house. The design, facilities and attention to detail are superb, and we loved the tranquility. I'm sure we'll be back!"
