Jackson's Lookout located on Back Hepburn Road is a viewing tower visitors can climb to view the thick forests surrounding the town. Mt Franklin Reserve offers picturesque views of Hepburn Springs and abundant picnic spots. Mt Franklin is an extinct volcano located seven kilometres north of Hepburn Springs. Mt Franklin summit is a two kilometre walk which is about an hour return. Mt Franklin also boasts multiple camping sites and is suitable for all ages. The Reserve also boasts many walking trails. Walking in this region is a perfect way to experience native flora and fauna and introduce yourself to the natural beauty of the area. Below is a list of day walks from the Parks Victoria website.
